Here is how I designed my visuals!
The first thing I did was manually creating an "Other" category by subtracting the total percentages of accounts and revenue from 100%.
Other % Accounts = 100% - (1.75% + 7.08% + 31.07% + 39.06% + 2.21%)
Other % Revenue = 100% - (21% + 25% + 32% + 15% + 2%)
Visual Display:
Bar Charts for Absolute Comparisons
Used for # of Accounts by Tier and Revenue by Tier (in millions) to emphasize differences in raw numbers.
Shows that Tier C has the most accounts, but B generates the most revenue.
Pie Charts for Percentage Breakdown
Used for % Accounts by Tier and % Revenue by Tier to visualize distribution across categories.
Highlights that higher-tier accounts (A+ and A) generate more revenue relative to their share of accounts.
Consistent Color Palette
The same color is used for each tier across all charts to ensure clarity and avoid confusion.
Allows for easy cross-comparison between different visualizations.
Clear Labels & Layout
Titles and axis labels ensure quick readability.
Pie charts use percentage labels for better insight.
